Second schedule of Mahesh Babu-Trivikram Srinivas film begins soon

The second schedule of SSMB28, the upcoming, tentatively titled Telugu film starring Mahesh Babu in the lead role, will begin soon, the makers shared the update on social media on Monday.

"The second schedule of our most awaited action extravaganza #SSMB28 will begin soon. Many more exciting updates will be unveiled in upcoming days. Stay tuned!" producer Naga Vamsi tweeted.

The first schedule of the film was wrapped up sometime in September. Directed by filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas, the film is produced by S Radha Krishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations. SSMB28 marks the third collaboration between Trivikram and Mahesh after Athadu and Khaleja.

The film went on floors earlier in September and the first schedule includes some high-octane action sequences by AnbArivu. The film features actor Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The duo has earlier worked together in Maharshi. SSMB28 music is composed by S Thaman.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is set to collaborate with SS Rajamouli, which is revealed to be a globetrotting action-adventure film. "It’s going to be a kind of James Bond or Indiana Jones film with Indian roots," Rajamouli had mentioned. The director is currently working on its pre-production and is planning to begin shooting next year. Though not confirmed as of yet, Deepika Padukone is speculated to be the female lead.
