Shooting of Nandamuri Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy action sequences underway

It was recently announced that the title of Nandamuri Balakrishna's Telugu film with director Gopichand Malineni is titled Veera Simha Reddy. Expected to be a commercial action entertainer, the makers are currently filming the fight sequences between Balakrishna and the film’s evil forces.

Veera Simha Reddy has actions coordinated by Venkat. The works related to the film are progressing at a brisk pace. Based on real incidents, the film has Shruti Haasan playing the female lead. It is backed by Mythri Movie Makers on a large scale. Apart from Balakrishna and Shruti, the film also stars Duniya Vijay, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Reportedly, it is said that Nandamuri Balakrishna will play dual roles in the film.

The technical crew consists of S Thaman on the music, while Rishi Punjabi is in charge of the cinematography. Writer Sai Madhav Burra has provided dialogues. National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli and production designer AS Prakash are also part of the crew.

Veera Simha Reddy is set for a worldwide release for Sankranthi, 2023.

Meanwhile, Nandamuri Balakrishna last delivered the blockbuster success Akhanda. The film was directed by Boyapati Srinu, was one of the commercial and financial hits of Telugu cinema in 2021. The actor will be joining hands with director Anil Ravipudi, for a film tentatively titled NBK108.
