Your appreciation and love for Yashoda is the greatest gift: Samantha Ruth Prabhu pens thank you note 

The recently released film Yashoda may have been received with mixed response, but its lead actor, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has been garnering praises for her performance in the film and action sequences that she pulled off. The actor has now penned a thank you note, expressing her joy and gratitude. 

"Your appreciation and love for Yashoda is the greatest gift and support that I could have ever asked for. Hearing your whistles and seeing the celebrations at the theatres is proof that all the hard work that the entire team of Yashoda put in was all worth it! I am on cloud nine," the actor wrote in her note. 

Thanking everyone involved in the making of the film, Samantha extended her gratitude for the producer of the film, Krishna Prasad, directors of Yashoda Hari and Harish, and her co-stars Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.

Yashoda released in theatres on November 11 and stars Samantha in the titular role. The film is primarily set within a surrogacy centre and features Samantha as a pregnant woman who get treated at the centre, run by Varalaxmi's Madhubala. 

Meanwhile, Samantha is currently working with Vijay Deverakonda for Shiva Nirvana's Kushi. The actor also has Shaakunthalam and Arrangements of Love.
