Yashoda, the Samantha-starrer upcoming film, is all set to release on November 11. Directed by Hari and Harish, Yashoda is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the Sridevi Movies banner. Ahead of the release, her co-star Unni Mukundan shares his experience working with the actor.

Unni Mukundan plays a doctor in Yashoda. Hailing her as a dedicated and hardworking artiste, he said that Samantha never revealed that she was fighting a condition called Myositis while shooting for the film.

According to IANS, he added, "She has prepared a lot for her role that includes action and emotional scenes. She would interact well with other artists on set. We discussed ideas on how we could improvise the action in a scene."

It may be noted that Samantha recently revealed that she is suffering from an auto-immune condition called Myositis. Unni Mukundan said that he felt sad after seeing Samantha's post. "She'll fight Myositis and come back in good health," he said.

Besides Telugu, billed as a pan-Indian women-centric film, Yashoda will be released in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

The makers roped in Hollywood stunt choreographer Yannick Ben to choreograph action sequences. Samantha plays a surrogate mother, unravelling the secrets of the medical world in the film.
Yashodha also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada and Priyanka Sharma in pivotal roles.
