Simhaa's first look from Waltair Veerayya out

The makers of the Telugu masala entertainer Waltair Veerayya have unveiled the first look of actor Simhaa from the film, on the occasion of his birthday on Sunday. In the new poster, the actor can be seen donning a retro look, multiple gold chains around his neck and cooling glasses.

The poster also reveals that he plays a character named Solomon Caesar. His look bears an uncanny resemblance to characters played by the actor in films like Disco Raja (2020) and most recently in Karthik Subbaraj's Mahaan. It hasn't been revealed whether he is playing a negative role in Waltair Veerayya.

Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film stars Chiranjeevi in the titular role while Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and Catherine Tresa will be seen in prominent roles. The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad and is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

The film is set to hit screens on Sankranthi 2023.

Simhaa was recently seen in the Amazon Prime Video original Ammu and has a Tamil film called Vasantha Mullai coming up.
