Samantha's sci-fi thriller Yashoda first teaser out

The first trailer of Samantha's upcoming sci-fi thriller Yashoda was released on Thursday. The trailer sees Samantha waking up to a world that she seems to be dissociated with. She seems unaware of the fact that she has been imprisoned. The facility that she is held in is envisioned like a maze and the intriguing teaser does pique the curiosity of the audience. Especially considering the fact that her room looks like a luxurious boutique apartment.

Her captor doesn't seem to want to torment her or force her through disturbing situations. So the question then is, why is she held under captivity?

Directed by Hari Shankar-Harish Narayan, Yashoda also features Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as other leads. The film is in the last leg of its production and the makers are planning to release it in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi on August 12.

The music for the film is composed by Mani Sharma.
