We had earlier reported about Malayalam superstar Mammootty acting in Akkineni Akhil's upcoming action film Agent. The makers unveiled the first-look poster featuring Mammootty on Monday.

The poster has him in the getup of an army officer. It comes with the caption, 'The Devil Ruthless Savior'.

As per reports, Akhil plays the role of a spy agent in the film and Mammootty will be seen as a military officer. Both the actors are expected to have equal prominence in the film.

Agent directed by Surender Reddy is billed as a spy-thriller. Vakkantham Vamsi has penned the story for the film, while it is being produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema.

Newcomer Sakshi Vaidya plays the female lead. Hip Hop Thamizha is composing the music, while Ragul Herian Dharuman cranks the camera. National Award-winner Naveen Nooli is the editor.

Meanwhile, Mammootty's latest release Bheeshma Parvam has opened to excellent response at the box office. Directed by Amal Neerad, the film is inspired from The Godfather and Mahabharatha.
