NC22: Ilaiyaraaja, Yuvan to compose for Venkat Prabhu-Naga Chaitanya film
Krithi Shetty has been signed as the female lead
The makers of NC22, the tentatively titled Telugu-Tamil film starring actor Naga Chaitanya under Venkat Prabhu's directorial, revealed key members of the team, including actor Krithi Shetty playing the female lead and Ilaiyaraaja along with son Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music. The announcement was made on social media on Thursday.
NC22 marks the directorial debut of Venkat Prabhu in Telugu and maiden collaboration with the lead actors. This apart, it is also the first time the director is joining hands with Ilaiyaraaja, who is also his uncle. Expressing his excitement on Twitter, Venkat Prabhu wrote,

Meanwhile, the music maestro, sent his best wishes to Venkat Prabhu through a video. Posted on Twitter, Ilaiyaraaja said, "Venkat Prabhu, all the best. Despite your father and I being there, you earned recognition and good name through your direction. It makes me happy and I am happy about your Telugu debut and my blessings are always with you. It is a good sign we are collaborating and I pray the god for your success. Congratulations."
