Modern Love Hyderabad gets a premiere date
The anthology consists of films from Nagesh Kukunoor, Venkatesh Maha, Uday Gurrala and Devika Bahudhanam
We had earlier reported that Modern Love Hyderabad is currently in development at Amazon Prime Video. The streamer has now announced the segments, cast, filmmakers and the release date of the six-episode anthology.
The first segment, titled My Unlikley Pandemic Dream Partner, is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor and stars Revathy and Nithya Menen. Nagesh has also directed Fuzzy, Purple and Full of Thorns featuring Aadhi Pinisetty and Ritu Varma. The third segment from Nagesh is titled Why Did She Leave Me There and stars Suhasini Maniratnam and Naresh Agastya.
What Clown Wrote this Script is directed by Uday Gurrala and features Abijeet Duddala and Malavika Nair, while About that Rustle in the Bushes is directed by Devika Bahudhanam and features Ulka Gupta and Naresh.
Venkatesh Maha, on the other hand, is helming Finding your Penguin, featuring Komalee Prasad in the lead role. The series is set to premiere on July 8.
