Release date of Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata announced

The film was initially set to be a Sankranthi release but was postponed to April to avert a clash with RRR

It has been announced that Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be hitting screens on May 12. The film was earlier set to release on April 1, but has been pushed due to the delay in filming and release of RRR.

The announcement was made with a new poster that features Mahesh Babu resting on a couch with a slice of cucumber placed over his eyes. The film was initially aimed a Sankranthi release but was postponed to April to avert a clash with RRR, which was set to release on January 7.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu. The film billed to be an action entertainer is directed by Parasuram Petla, who helmed the hit film Geetha Govindam starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna.

The first single from the film will release on February 14.  

Sarkaru Vaari Paata is jointly produced under the banners GMB Entertainments, Mythri Movie Makers, and 14 Reels Plus.
