In a recent interview, Telugu star Nagarjuna and his son Naga Chaitanya opened up about how they take rumours and reports about them on media. Nagarjuna said that such reports affect him only when it is about his family. On the other hand, Chay echoed that statement and added such reports will be forgotten in time.

When asked if rumours affect them personally, Naga Chaitanya said Bollywood Bubble, "The only time it bothers me is when they write something bad about my family. I don't care even if they write about me. Stones are pelted only at the tree that bears fruit, that's what my father says. It's a Telugu saying. So, when they write something nasty about my family, it affects me. Especially, the YouTube channels... for the sake of subscribers. I don't even feel like opening YouTube. I keep opting for the Not Interested option at least twenty times a day."

Answering the same questing, Naga Chaitanya said, "One way of looking at it is, it is the media’s job to report and write what they have to write. That defines the kind of media they are, that’s their job. But at the same time, I don’t have to react to it, it’s up to me. Like dad said unless it is something about family or something personal that needs to be corrected, correct it. Otherwise, it’s okay, don’t react. News replaces news, tomorrow it’s forgotten."

The duo recently shared the screen in the film Bangarraju, a sequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana. The Sankranti release opened to mixed responses from the critics, and reports suggest the film performed decently at the box office.
