NBK 107 first look

Fresh from the success of Akhanda, Nandamuri Balakrishna has begun shooting for his new film, NBK 107, with director Gopichand Malineni. The makers have kickstarted the proceedings with an action sequence under the supervision of Ram-Lakshman in Siricilla.

Grapevine is that Balayya will be seen donning a dual role of that of a father and son in this high-voltage action entertainer produced by Mythri Movie Makers. While the father's character appears as a faction leader, the son's role is said to be a police officer. The look of the actor in the father's role was released by the makers on Monday. Interestingly, Balayya was seen playing similar roles in his 2002 actioner Chennakesava Reddy.

Speculations were rife that the film's core plot is loosely inspired by Shivarajkumar's 2017 Kannada film Mufti. Also starring Shruti Haasan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Duniya Vijay, NBK 107 will hit the screens for Dasara. The film has dialogues written by Sai Madhav Burra and music by S Thaman.
