Balakrishna's look from NBK 107 a rip-off of Shivanna's Mufti?

A leaked still of Nandamuri Balakrishna from his upcoming film, NBK 107, has made its way to the internet on the first day of its shoot, on Friday.

The picture shows a bearded Balakrishna dressed in a black shirt and a lungi, seated on a wooden chair, with actor Lal standing behind him.

Soon, netizens started drawing comparisons between Balakrishna's still to that of Shivarajkumar's 2017 neo-noir action thriller Mufti. That's not all, they also alleged that director Gopichand Malineni is making a rip-off of the Kannada film.

Interestingly, Malineni's last release Krack, featuring Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan, too, faced similar allegations as the storyline bears similarities with Vijay Sethupathi's Sethupathi. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, NBK 107 also features Shruti Haasan as the female lead.

The first schedule of NBK 107 has commenced in Siricilla, Telangana where the team is filming an action sequence under the supervision of Ram-Lakshman.
