Adivi Sesh-starrer Major's new release date out

Major starring Adivi Sesh has been postponed a couple of times, and the new release date has been announced by the makers on February 4

Adivi Sesh's film Major has a new release date, which was announced on February 4. The film is a biopic based on the life of 26/11 braveheart, NSG Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, and will release theatrically on May 27. 

The film will trace Sandeep Unnikrishnan's journey from childhood, teenage years, and the years leading up to his time in the Army. It will end with the crucial role he played during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks which is when the Major met his tragic end. 

The film is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and is being released simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. In addition to this, Major will also be dubbed in Malayalam. So far, the film's teaser and its first single Hrudayama has struck a chord with the audience. The music for the film is scored by Sricharan Pakala.

Major also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murli Sharma in pivotal roles. It is being bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar Ghattamaneni's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies.
