Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya to release on this date

Waltair Veerayya, the upcoming film starring Chiranjeevi, is all set to release on January 13, 2023, marking the occasion of Sankranti, the makers announced on Wednesday.

Directed by Bobby Kolli (KS Ravindra), the film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Billed as a mass-action entertainer, Waltair Veeraiya also stars Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and Urvashi Rautela.

While Arthur A Wilson handles the camera, Niranjan Devaramane is the editor and AS Prakash is the production designer. Bobby has written the story and the dialogue for the film. Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy have written the screenplay.

Chiranjeevi was last seen in GodFather, the Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer. Besides Waltair Veerayya, he also has Bhola Shankar. The actor was recently awarded the Indian Film Personality of the Year Award for 2022 at the 53rd IFFI.
