Adivi Sesh-starrer HIT 2 collects Rs 28.1 crore in three days

HIT 2, the Adivi Sesh-starrer, which hit the theatres on December 3, has collected Rs 28.1 crore (gross) worldwide in three days, the makers announced on Monday. 

The film, which garnered a positive response from the audiences, is directed by Sailesh Kolanu. It is a sequel to the 2020 film HIT: The First Case, which starred Vishwak Sen in the lead role. Adivi Sesh plays a police officer named Krishna Dev aka KD in the second part. The story follows him as he takes up an investigation of a murder case of a girl whose body is found. It has Meenakshi Chaudhary playing the female lead.

HIT 2 also stars Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, Komalee Prasad, Srinath Maganti, and Srikanth Iyengar, among others. With cinematography by Manikandan, Garry BH edited the film, and MM SREE Lekha and Suresh Bobbili scored the music for the film. 

It may be noted that the makers announced that they are forming a cinematic universe by interconnecting characters and plot lines. The makers have also hinted about HIT 3 towards the end of the second part.
