Tamahagane promo from Nagarjuna's The Ghost out

A sneak peek titled Tamahagane, from the upcoming film The Ghost starring Nagarjuna Akkineni, was released by the makers on Thursday.

The Ghost is directed by Praveen Sattaru and backed by Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment banners.

Termed as the protagonist’s “choice of weapon”, the two-minute video discloses Tamahagane. The film features Nagarjuna as an Interpol officer and video begins with someone cautioning Nagarjuna about the entire underworld coming for him. While one can notice a file labeled ‘Red Notice’ in the drawer, Nagarjuna opens a huge box where he finds this raw steel named Tamahagane. He makes a sharp sword with it to take on the underworld. “The sword feels proud in the hands of The King,” reads the quote in the promo.  When the underworld almost reaches his place, he blasts the power supply system. It is revealed in the end that Tama means precious and Hagane means steel.

The trailer of the film will be out on August 25.  The Ghost is expected to be an action thriller, with Sonal Chauhad playing the female lead. It also features Gul Panag and Anikha Surendran in vital roles.

The music is composed by Mark K Robin, with songs by Bharath and Saurab duo. Mukesh G is the cinematographer, wherein Brahma Kadali is the art director.

The Ghost will release on October 5.
