Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata postponed to April  

The film, which was initially scheduled to hit the screens on January 13, 2022, will now be released on April 1

The release of actor Mahesh Babu's upcoming film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata has been postponed. The film, which was initially scheduled to hit the screens on January 13, 2022, will now be released on April 1. 

This was announced on social media by Mahesh Babu, who shared a poster from the film with a straightforward caption that read, "April 1st 2022!!"

Interestingly, this Sankranthi was supposed to be a three-way race between SS Rajamouli's period actioner, RRR, Sarkaru Varai Paata, and Prabhas' i With Sarkaru Vaari Paata rescheduling its release date, the Sankranthi competition is set to be between the Baahubali director and Baahubali actor. 



Directed by Parasuram Petla (Bujji), Sarkaru Vaari Paata has Mahesh Babu as a moneylender. The film stars National award winner Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, Tanikella Bharani, Babu Anthony and Subbaraju in important roles. 

Backed by Mythri Movie Makers in association with GMB Entertainment PVT Ltd and 14 Reels, the music of the film is by Thaman. 

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu's upcoming production, Major, featuring Adivi Sesh, Sobitha Dhulipala and Saiee Manjrekar, 2022, is slated for release on February 11 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
