Sai Dharam Tej's Republic locks its release date

Republic is directed by Dev Katta

The makers of Sai Dharam Tej-starrer, Republic, have announced that the film will hit screens on October 1. The Dev Katta-directorial stars Aishwarya Rajesh as the female lead. Sai Dharam Tej announced the release date on Twitter while sharing that he plays an IAS officer named Panja Abhiram in the political flick. Sai added that his character from Republic is a favorite from his filmography so far. 

Republic also stars Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishnan in prominent roles, and features a soundtrack by ace music composer, Mani Sharma. The first song from the album, titled Gaana of Republic was released last month and has garnered three million views so far on YouTube. The film has cinematography by M Sukumar while National Award-winner Praveen KL will be handling editing.

Produced by J B Entertainments, the film will be presented by Zee Studios. Sai Dharam Tej was last seen in Solo Brathuke So Better, which was incidentally the first major movie to release in theatres after first nationwide lockdown.
