AR Rahman wishes Udhayanidhi Stalin with Maamannan glimpse

Udhayanidhi Stalin is celebrating his birthday today. Making the day more special for his fans and followers, team Maamannan have released a glimpse video. It features a snippet of AR Rahman wishing Udhayanidhi and sharing his delight in working with him and director Mari Selvaraj for the first time. The video, shot in black and white, ends with a footage from the film where Udhayanidhi is seen standing with a sword amidst a raging fire.

Maamannan also stars Keerthy Suresh, Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu in prominent roles. Theni Eswar, who worked with Mari on his previous film Karnan, is the cinematographer. Selva RK is the editor, while Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed the action sequences.

Last seen in Kalaga Thalaivan, Udhayanidhi Stalin next has the long-delayed Kannai Nambathey gearing up for release in February. He has also signed a film with Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International. However, it is not yet known who will be directing that film.

Meanwhile, Mari Selvaraj recently started working on Vaazhai, which stars a bunch of kids alongside Kalaiyarasan and Nikhila Vimal. Mari is also expected to team up with Dhruv Vikram for a sports-based rural drama.
