Glimpse of  Rajinikanth from Jailer sets out

The makers of Jailer on Friday released the much-anticipated glimpse of Superstar Rajinikanth from the sets of the film.

The rushes of the 12-second video feature the silhouette of Rajini shooting for the film and Nelson Dilipkumar directing the actor. 

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the makers confirmed that Kannada actor Shivarajkumar is part of the film. They unveiled his first look and noted that he has joined the sets. He is said to complete his portions in a span of four to five days this week. 

Backed by Sun Pictures, the film will mark Rajini's 169th outing. Set in the background of jail, Rajini plays the titular character in Jailer. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film also stars Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan and Vinayakan in pivotal roles. It is expected to hit the theatres in 2023 summer.
