The trailer of Veetla Vishesham, the Tamil remake of Badhaai Ho, has been released. Directed by RJ Balaji and NJ Saravanan, the film has the former playing the lead role along with Aparna Balamurali, Urvashi, Sathyaraj, and KPAC Lalitha in prominent roles.

From the trailer, Veetla Vishesham looks like a faithful remake of the National award winning original. The film is about a middle-aged couple who gets pregnant, much to the disappointment of their sons. Urvashi and Sathyaraj play the couple while RJ Balaji essays the part of their elder son. Aparna Balamurali is paired with him.

Veetla Vishesham has Karthik Muthukumar as the cinematographer and Girishh Gopalakrishnan as the music director. Selva RK is the editor. The film is backed by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects in association with Romeo Pictures.

It is scheduled for theatre release on June 17.
