Kaalathukkum Nee Venum: First single from Silambarasan's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu out

The first single from Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu has been released. Titled Kaalathukkum Nee Venum, the song is sung by Silambarasan TR and Rakshita Suresh.

Thamarai has penned the lyrics and AR Rahman has composed the melodious track. The song video features the lead pair, Silambarasan and  Siddhi Idnani.

Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon is an action-thriller that tells the story of street thugs in Mumbai. The film marks the director's fourth collaboration with Silambarasan. They have earlier worked together in films Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada.

Scripted by B Jeyamohan, the film also stars Raadhika Sarathkumar, Siddique, and Aangelina Abraham.
Siddhartha Nuni is the cinematographer and Gautham Menon's regular collaborator Antony is editing the film.
