Actor-director R Parthiban has unveiled the first look poster of his upcoming directorial effort, Iravin Nizhal.

The film is billed as the world's first non-linear single-shot feature film. The first look poster was unveiled by senior director Mani Ratnam. The poster features Parthiban holding a torch light in the thick of darkness.

Accompanying the poster was a video snippet from AR Rahman, the film's music composer, who appreciated Parthiban's style of filmmaking. "When he said the film was going to be made in one shot, I could imagine the movie to be something. He also showed me the whole rehearsal. When I saw the movie, I was really surprised that he could achieve so many different things. And from the time I saw the rehearsal to what he had shot, it was completely a quantum shift. He is an interesting artist to work with," Rahman says.

In addition to AR Rahman, the film's crew includes two more Oscar winners-Craig Mann (Sound Designer) and Cottalango Leon (VFX Supervisor).

Iravin Nizhal has cinematography by Arthur Wilson, while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Anandha krishnan, and Brigida Saga in supporting roles.
