The trailer of Aishwarya Rajesh, R Parthiban, Kathir, and Sriya Reddy-starrer Suzhal: The Vortex is out. It explores the lives of people in a small town in Tamil Nadu, where a young woman sets out on a search for her sister Nila. There seems to be some kind of obstacle when she tries to take the legal route, and her journey is the central plot of the eight-episode investigative thriller. Aishwarya Rajesh plays the young woman while Kathir plays the cop who seemingly attempts to help her unravel the case of her missing sister.

The web series is set in the backdrop of a 'masana kolai', which is a festival native to certain parts of South India. The visuals in the trailer confirm the same. According to a note from Amazon Prime Video, the show will also intersperse myth with mystery. Suzhal: The Vortex also teases lies and deceit at the heart of this case, and the secrets teased throughout the trailer might make this show an intriguing watch.

Suzhal: The Vortex is produced, written, and created by Pushkar and Gayatri and directed by Bramma, and Anucharan M. The show also stars Nivedhithaa Sathish, Harish Uthaman, Santhana Bharathi, among others. The show is slated to premiere on the streaming service on June 17.
