The trailer of Vishnu Vishal's much-awaited film FIR was released today. Directed by Manu Anand, the film is slated to hit theatres on February 11.

The two-minute trailer hints at an action-packed cat-and-mouse thriller. Vishnu stars as a man named Irfan Ahmed, however, someone frames him claiming that he is in fact a terrorist named Abu Bakkar Abdullah. Is Irfan really framed? If so, who did it and how is he going to escape the clutches of the authorities? The closely-cut trailer does amp up the expectations without revealing too much.

FIR stars Gautham Vasudev Menon as a cop. He is joined by actors Manjima Mohan, Reba Monica John, and Raiza Wilson, the female leads of the film.

Wrapped up production in January 2021, the film has been long-delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  FIR has music by Ashwath, cinematography by Kirumi-fame Arul Vincent, and editing by Prasanna GK.

Produced by Vishnu Vishal Studioz, the film is released in Tamil by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. In Telugu, the film is presented by Ravi Teja and released by Abhishek Pictures.
