Vishal's Laththi trailer promises plenty of action

The trailer of Vishal-starrer Laththi dropped on Monday. Written and directed by A Vinoth Kumar, the film looks like an action-packed thriller from its trailer. Vishal plays a police constable named Muruganandham, who is introduced by his colleagues as a 'laththi expert'. The trailer seems to suggest that a major portion of the film is set in an under construction multistorey building, where Muruganandham and his son get trapped. If the trailer is anything to go by, the film has plenty of action set pieces choreographed by Peter Hein.

Laththi has Sunainaa as Vishal's wife. Prabhu, Munishkanth, A Venkatesh, Vinod Sagar, and Sunny PN are also part of the cast. The film has cinematography by Balasubramanian and Balakrishna Thota. Music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and edits are done by NB Srikanth.

Backed by actors Ramana and Nanda under the banner Rana Productions, Laththi is set to release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The makers have announced December 22 as the release date.
