The third and final song from the upcoming Vijay-starrer Beast was released on Friday (April 8). The song titled Beast Mode is the theme song of the film directed by Nelson. The song features stills of Vijay in a powerful avatar throughout and hypes up his character — RAW agent Veeraraghavan— in the film.

Two other songs from the film's album were released to great reception from the audience. They are Arabic Kuthu and Jolly O Gymkhana.

In a recent interview, speaking of his relationship with the composer, and the songs in Beast, director Nelson said, "Vijay sir has already sung twice for Anirudh in previous films; this time too, it was Anirudh who got Vijay sir to sing. Moreover, the Jolly O Gymkhana track was right up his alley. Arabic Kuthu happens as a part of the story."

He also added, "As for our friendship, sometimes, it feels like I stay at Ani’s studio. He knows I won’t leave if he doesn’t give me a song. I don’t give him any inputs; I stop with telling him the mood of the song and he would respond with a rough draft. I would ask, 'Unga manasatchiku eppadi irukku intha paatu?' (laughs). He would sometimes respond by sending a different version; some other times, we are happy with what we have. I do think he puts in more effort for me, like he does for Sivakarthikeyan."

Beast is slated to release on April 13 in theaters. The film produced by Sun Pictures will have cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, and it has an impressive star cast including Pooja Hegde, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Selvaraghavan, and Sathish among others.
