Rajinikanth's Annaatthe teaser out: An action-packed Superstar Deepavali awaits

The much-awaited teaser video of Rajinikanth's Annaatthe was released earlier today.

The video shows a glimpse into Siva's rural action flick and promises an all-out superstar mania. The teaser does a great job at not revealing the story of the film. 

However, a section of the audience has begun to express their displeasure over the teaser having tacky VFX and not featuring any of the female stars. 

Directed by Siva, Annaatthe marks the superstar's 168th film. This is also his first collaboration with the filmmaker. This is music composer Imman's first film with the actor and second with the director.

Apart from Rajinikanth, the film stars Nayanthara, Meena, Khushboo, Keerthy Suresh, Prakashraj, Robo Shankar, Soori, and Sathish in important roles. Said to be a rural drama, it has Vetri and Ruben handling cinematography and editing, respectively. 

Annaatthe is slated to hit screens on the 4th of November, on the occasion of Deepavali.
