The trailer of Gautham Vasudev Menon's upcoming film, Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha, was released earlier today. The film features actor Varun in the lead role and will see the star who took part in the reality tv show Bigg Boss play the role of a contract killer. However, one of his assignments is to take care of a high-profile client.

This client is portrayed by actor Raahei. Her well-being is Joshua’s responsibility, but the trailer hints at the two of them crossing lines and becoming lovers. The teaser hints that we can expect a lot of action in the film. Actor Krishna plays the role of the villain in this film. He chases Joshua for revenge from the looks of the trailer.

Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha was expected to see a theatrical release in 2020, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the production of the film was halted.

This action-thriller is produced by Ishari K Ganesh for Vels Film International. The cinematography for the film is done by SR Kathir. Karthik, who worked with Gautham Vasudev Menon on his short for Navarasa anthology, is the music composer.

An official release date is yet to be announced.
