On Monday, the makers of The Road announced that the film's trailer will be unveiled on September 21. The Trisha-starrer is all set to hit theatres on October 6.
Previously, the makers released the first single from the film titled 'Oh Vidhi'. The song is composed by Sam CS, with a voice lent by Sid Sriram. Karthik Netha has written the lyrics.
Apart from Trisha, others part of the cast include Dancing Rose Shabeer Kallarakkal, Santhosh Prathap, Miya George, MS Bhaskar, Vivek Prasanna, Vela Ramamoorthy. The film, expected to be a thriller, is stated to be based on a real-life incident which happened in the early 2000s.
The Road is written and directed by Arun Vaseegaran, with AAA Cinemaa Private Limited backing The Road. The technical crew consists of Sam CS scoring the music, with KG Venkatesh behind the camera. AR Shivaraj is the editor.
