Film fraternity condoles Vijay Antony for his daughter's demise
Meera, who was majorly kept away from the limelight, became famous earlier this year after a photo of her with a winner sash went viral on the internet

Composer-actor Vijay Antony's sixteen-year-old daughter Meera died by suicide in their residence in Alwarpet around 3 a.m. on Tuesday. Following the young child's demise, many from the film fraternity took to social media to pay condolences.
The high schooler is said to have hanged herself to death and the reason behind her tragic decision is yet to be discovered. Meera, who was majorly kept away from the limelight, became famous earlier this year after a photo of her with a winner sash went viral on the internet.
Actor Sarath Kumar said, "The news of the untimely and unfortunate demise of Meera, the daughter of Vijay Antony and Fatima is shocking beyond imagination. No amount of consoling and condolences can replace the everlasting grief of Vijay Antony and Fatima. Vijay, I hope the almighty give strength to your family to bear this unfathomable loss. May her soul rest in peace."
Actor Jayam Ravi said, "It’s heartbreaking to hear about the loss of your daughter Vijay Antony brother." Further addressing children, he continued, "To all the children out there, please know that you are cherished, valued, and never alone. Life is full of ups and downs, and you have the power to overcome the challenges."
Actor Silambarasan said, "Heartbroken to hear about your loss Vijay Antony brother, I offer my deepest condolences. My prayers are with you and the family!" Director Lokesh Kanagaraj also similarly condoled the music director adding, "More strength to you and your family to get through this loss."
Nivetha Pethuraj, who worked with Vijay Antony in Thimirupudichavan, recalled meeting Meera for a brief moment during the film's shoot. "I have met Meera briefly during dubbing for Thimirupudichavan. Very sweet and respectful child. I pray for her soul to see the light," she wrote, further praying for the actor and his family.
Other from the film industry like Athulya Ravi, Indhuja, Anirudh Ravichander, Kavin, Jiiva, Arun Vijay, Khushbu, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raghava Lawrence, Venkat Prabhu, Karthik Subbaraj, and Harish Kalyan among others, also condoled the actor, producer and music director.
