Rajinikanth shares how Anirudh elevated the quality of Jailer   

At the recently held Jailer success meet, Rajinikanth took to the stage to thank his producer Kalanithi Maran, director Nelson, composer Anirudh, and the rest of the cast and crew. After recounting how the CTO of Sun Network, Kannan liked the early cut of the film, the actor goes on to reveal how, contrasting to S Kannan's remarks, the COO of Sun Network, Sembian Sivakumar called the film "average." 

Rajinikanth then recollects his own early reactions to the film. He said, "To be frank with you, without the music score, the film felt above average for me. And then to see how Anirudh elevated this film, my god!"
He then continues, "He(Anirudh) took it as a challenge to deliver a hit for me as well as his friend Nelson. He is my son."

Rajinikanth then draws upon the analogy of a bride getting ready for her wedding to illustrate how Anirudh improved the film.
