Rajinikanth heaps praise on Viijay Karthik Kannan, Nirmal, and Stun Shiva for their work in Jailer
At the recently held success meet for the Nelson directorial Jailer, Rajinikanth took the stage to appreciate the cast, crew, and Sun Pictures

Taking the stage at the Jailer success meet and after generous dose of appreciation for his producer Kalanithi Maran and composer Anirudh, Rajinikanth goes on to heap praises on the technicians who worked on the film. He starts by talking about the work of his cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan.
"Every technician who worked on the film were amazing. Especially cinematographer (Vijay) Karthik. I did not expect that he would deliver such an incredible output. On the shooting spot, I didn't have a clue what he was doing. Vijay would just come and sit, he'll say okay and then go. And then I realised what he was doing only after I watched the film. He is a busy cameraman. He spent 30 days in Mumbai even after finishing the film, just so he can improve the visuals," said Rajinikanth.
The actor then moves on to the editor of the film R Nirmal, "And then the editor, my god!," exclaimed Rajinikanth, before continuing, "After the editing was completed and it shown with all the effects, it was superb."
Coming to stunt choreographer Stun Shiva, Rajinikanth starts off with a disclaimer. "I was a little apprehensive when they told me it was going to be Shiva." He then addressed Shiva and said, "Shiva shouldn't take this wrong but after watching all his over-the-top action set pieces in Balakrishna films and the like I thougth he would do something like that." The actor laughed and then continued, "Nelson would ask for realistic fight sequences and Shiva would go beyond what was asked to deliver something realistic."
Rajinikanth then directs his appreciation towards the assistant directors of the film. "All the assistant directors look like heroes," said the actor
