Sarath Kumar joins shoot for Arya and Gautham Karthik's Mr X

Sarath Kumar joins shoot for Arya and Gautham Karthik's Mr X

Actor Sarath Kumar, who was last seen in Paramporul, has now started shooting for his upcoming film Mr X directed by Manu Anand of FIR fame. The film, which went on floors on August 14, 2023, has commenced shooting at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. Mr X has Arya and Gautham Karthik in lead roles.

Sharing a video of his training routine, Sarath Kumar wrote, "Keeping fit, in preparation for the next movie which needs my fitness at a greater level. My trainer and good friend of the family Punith from A3 Fitness Bangalore takes care of my needs and guides me both with the workout and my diet to boost my muscularity and fitness levels. Mr X has commenced shooting, joining them at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan."

Divyanka Anand Shankar and Raam H Puthran have penned the screenplay for the film, along with Manu. Besides Arya and Gautham Karthik, Mr X also stars Manju Warrier, and Anagha, among others. The film is backed by Prince Pictures.

In a previous conversation with CE, Manu said that Mr X will be an action drama. "The story revolves around two individuals, played by Arya and Gautham, who embark on a journey towards a common mission. The film unfolds with how their decisions lead them to a situation and how they come out of it," he says, adding that Mr X also explores father-son emotions.

The technical crew of Mr X consists of Tanveer Mir cranking the camera, Dhibu Ninan Thomas composing music and Prasanna GK handling the edit. The filming for Mr X is set to take place across India, Uganda and European countries.
