Jayam Ravi sports a bearded look in Siren preface

The makers of Jayam Ravi's Siren released a first-look teaser called a preface, on the occasion of the actor's birthday on Sunday. The actor is seen sporting a bearded look in the preface, which also shows him doing push-ups, and wearing a dhoti and shirt. Jayam Ravi looks older than usual in this film. 

The second schedule of the film is currently ongoing and the shoot is expected to go on till 17th November. The first schedule of the film was completed in Chennai previously. 

Siren is expected to star Ravi as a prisoner and Keerthy Suresh as a cop. Also starring Anupama Parameshwaran, the film is written and directed by screenwriter-turned-filmmaker, Antony Bhagyaraj, who co-wrote Annathey, Viswasam and Hero.

Siren is said to be an action-packed emotional drama. The film also stars Samuthirakani and Yogi Babu. Produced by Sujatha Vijaykumar of Home Movie Makers, the film's music is by GV Prakash. With Selvakumar SK of Maanagaram fame handling the cinematography, Ruben is in charge of editing.

Apart from this film, Ravi has Ahmed's Iraivan which is set to hit theatres on September 28. He also has an untitled Rajesh film tentatively titled JR 30, Genie and Thani Oruvan 2 in the lineup.
