Karthi, who is known for selecting unique scripts, continues to not just pique the curiosity of a discerning audience but also manages to hit both critical and commercial acclaim almost every single time. For his landmark 25th film, Karthi is uniting with versatile director Raju Murugan for Japan. The film, which is gearing up for a Diwali release, made all the right noises with its intriguing trailer that told a lot but still kep the audience guessing the plot too.

Now, the makers have released the first single from the film, titled Touching Touching. Composed by GV Prakash Kumar, the song is sung by Karthi and Indravati Chauhan. The peppy and fun number featuring Karthi and Anu Emmanuel is written by Arunraja Kamaraj, and choreographed by Jani Master.

Here's the video:

Produced by Karthi's frequent collaborator Dream Warrior Pictures, Japan has cinematography by Ravi Varman and editing by Philomin Raj.

Japan stars a stellar ensemble featuring the likes of KS Ravikumar, Sunil, and Vijay Milton.

The film will go up against Karthik Subbaraj's much-awaited Jigarthanda Double X this Diwali.
