Suriya's Kanguva to release in 38 languages, confirms KE Gnanavelraja

Suriya's Kanguva is one of the most anticipated upcoming films. The film, which is directed by Siva, has reportedly reached its final leg of shooting. KE Gnanavelraja, who is producing this film under his Studio Green banner, recently revealed that the film will be released in 38 languages.

In an interview with Behindwoods, Gnanavelraja said Kanguva will be released in 38 languages with 3D and IMAX versions. He also assured that Kanguva will be the biggest release for a Tamil film and they have planned to release it in regions across the globe, including some never-before-released locations. A snippet of the interview was also shared by Studio Green's X handle.

Mounted as a high-budget film, Kanguva is helmed by Siva and features Disha Patani as the female lead, marking her debut in Tamil cinema. In an earlier conversation with CE, Siva said, "The film is set 1500 years ago and uses elements from ancient Tamil culture as well as other cultures from all over India. Kanguva is a fictional story set in an imaginary world with strong historical references and facts."

Kanguva will have cinematography by Siva's frequent collaborator, Vetri Palanisamy, production design by Milan and editing by Nishad Yusuf.

Backed by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green and UV Creations, Kanguva is aimed at an early 2024 release. The film marks Suriya's 42nd outing.

Supreme Sundar will choreograph the action sequences, while Narayana has co-written the script. The dialogues are by Madhan Karky.
