Actor Vishnu Vishal was part of Kamal Haasan’s birthday bash, which was attended by Bollywood star Aamir Khan.
When Vishnu finally got to meet the two legends, he shared a photo of them on X, which was once Twitter. Unfortunately, Vishnu's tweet, in which he referred to Kamal and Aamir as "Superstars," offended Rajinikanth supporters.
Later, after trolls attacked him online, he edited his post where he wrote, "A favourite pic with all favourites. Stars are stars for a reason."
Explaining the reason for editing his post, he wrote, "Superstars are superstars for a reason. Just because I edited my tweet doesn't make me weak. I love everyone who is a superstar. So all of you trying to spread negativity on my timeline just buzz off. There will be only one SUPERSTAR title for us, but superstars are everyone who has achieved way beyond my respect. Love all. Spread love. Not hatred. God bless."
Vishnu Vishal, who was last seen in Gatta Kusthi (2022), directed by Chella Ayyavu, is awaiting the release of Lal Salaam which hits theatres on Pongal, 2024. The sports drama, written and directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth stars Rajinikanth in an extended cameo appearance, along with Vikranth in a pivotal role.
