Kathirravan joins cast of Koodu

Video jockey Kathirravan, who shot to fame after his participation in reality show Bigg Boss season 6, has joined the cast of the upcoming Tamil film Koodu, the makers informed on Monday.

The film is directed by debutant Joyal Vijay.

Koodu is based on the true story of villagers who lived without electricity for 35 days because a sparrow built a nest in the EB box in the village. With resilience, they waited until the eggs hatched and the sparrows flew away. 

M Ganesh and Kannan P of Sky Moon Entertainment and A Entertainment are producing Koodu.  David Williams has penned the script for this upcoming film. Koodu is set to release in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, apart from Tamil.  The rest of the details on cast and crew are yet to be announced.
