Teaser of Karthi's Japan is here

The teaser of Japan, the upcoming Tamil film starring Karthi in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Thursday, marking the actor’s birthday.

Japan marks Karthi’s 25^th film.

The teaser introduces the titular character played by Karthi. With a touch of quirkiness, Karthi is shown to be hailed by some, and mocked by others. Karthi appears in a retro look, as the teaser promises lots of action and dark comedy.

Directed by Raju Murugan, the film will hit the theatres for Diwali. Backed by Dream Warrior Pictures, Japan marks the second collaboration between director Raju Murugan and Dream Warrior Pictures after Joker.  Apart from Karthi, Japan stars Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, and cinematographer-filmmaker Vijay Milton in pivotal roles.

While the music of Japan is by GV Prakash Kumar, the cinematography and editing is by Ravi Varman, and Philomin Raj, respectively.
