While Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently shooting Leo with actor Vijay, speculations are rife that the filmmaker will be collaborating with actor Rajinikanth for the latter's 171st film. However, an official announcement on the film is yet to be made.

In a recent interview with an online media, director Mysskin revealed that Lokesh will be teaming up with Rajinikanth. It is to be noted that Mysskin is currently acting in Leo. Mentioning that Lokesh's films are mostly commercial thrillers, he added, "The ideas he pitches, his casting, everything makes his film a hit. While his previous film, Vikram, was a blockbuster, as a director I would say that he is an interesting filmmaker. He will be working with Rajinikanth and it's a proud moment. I think this will mark Rajinikanth's final film. However, it is not confirmed officially." Mysskin also revealed that Rajinikanth invited Lokesh to work with him

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is currently working in Jailer and is scheduled to make a special appearance in his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth's directorial Lal Salaam.

On the other hand, Lokesh is busy shooting for Leo, which also stars Trisha, Arjun, and Sanjay Dutt among others.
