Vikram resumes shoot for Thangalaan at KGF

Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan in important roles

Vikram resumes shoot for Thangalaan at KGF

On Thursday, actor Vikram took to Twitter to update that he is back at Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) to resume shooting for his next film, Thangalaan. The actor took a break from the shoot to attend the audio and trailer launch event of his upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan II

The actor wrote on Twitter, "Back in KGF. Love 2 all the loved ones who waited till midnight. Sorry it got so late. And thank you for that love that only you can feel. And give in such abundance." (sic)

Helmed by Pa Ranjith, Thangalaan also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan in prominent roles. The film is expected to showcase the story of the origins of the Kolar Gold Field of Karnataka. 

Thangalaan is backed by Studio Green and Neelam Productions. GV Prakash is scoring the music of the film, marking his first collaboration with the filmmaker. Tamil Prabha is the co-writer of the film while Selva RK and SS Murthi will be handling the editing and art departments, respectively. The film will also release in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
