Director Rohin talks about his Jai-Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Theera Kadhal
Hesitant to call it a story about a love triangle, the director says, “It is a relationship drama between three characters.”
The title and first look poster for Jai and Aishwarya Rajesh’s upcoming film was recently released by Lyca Productions. Titled Theera Kadhal, the film is directed by Rohin Venkatesan, who is best known for directing films like Adhe Kangal and Petromax. Theera Kadhal also stars Sshivada and child actor Vriddhi Vishal in prominent roles.
Hesitant to call it a story about a love triangle, the director says, “It is a relationship drama between three characters.” Rohin goes on to say that anybody will be able to relate to the story because whether they have been in a relationship, anticipating a relationship or have moved on from a relationship, they all would have crossed this feeling in their lives. He further asserts that the film talks about how sometimes you will never be able to fall out of love.
Talking about how the project came into place he says, “Aishwarya Rajesh was the first to come on board And then I thought Jai would be perfect for this role.” The idea for the film was apparently born out of a short story. Rohin says, “I was working on a short story with my writer Surendranath and we liked a particular moment in the beginning of the story, we developed that idea, which ultimately became Theera Kadhal.”
With the post production nearing its end, the makers are gearing up to release trailer and other promotional material in the coming weeks.
