Gautham Karthik's August 16 1947 's trailer to be out on this date

The makers of Gautham Karthik's August 16 1947, announced that the film's trailer would be out on March 21. On Monday, a motion poster of the film was also released.  

Written and Directed by NS Ponkumar August 16 1947, borrows its title from the day after India gained independence from the British colonial rulers. The film tells the tale of a remote village where one man battles British forces. Debutant Revathy Sharma is playing a lead role alongside Gautham Karthik.

Apart from Gautham Karthik and Revathy, August 16 1947, stars Pugazh, Richard Ashton, Jason shah, and others. Meanwhile, Gautham will be next seen in Pathu Thala, which will release on March 30.

August 16 1947, is backed by AR Murugadoss, Om Prakash Bhatt and Narsiram Choudhary. The film's technical crew includes music by Sean Roldan, Selvakumar SK cranking the camera, and Sudharsan on the edit.
