Second single from August 16 1947 to be out on this date 

The makers of Gautham Karthik starrer 1947 August 16 announced that the second single will be released on March 13. The second single is titled Seenikaaari. 

Written and Directed by NS Ponkumar, 1947 August 16 borrows its title from the date that marks one day after India gained independence from the British colonial rulers. The film tells the tale of a remote village where one man battles British forces. Debutant Revathy is playing a lead role alongside Gautham Karthik.

August 16, 1947, is backed by AR Murugadoss, Om Prakash Bhatt and Narsiram Choudhary. The film's technical crew includes music by Sean Roldan, Selvakumar SK cranking the camera, and Sudharsan on the edit.
