Viduthalai Part 1 trailer promises a gripping thriller

The much-awaited trailer of Viduthalai Part 1 has been released online. The film is directed by Vetrimaaran.

The trailer showcases Vijay Sethupathi as a revolutionary named Perumal while Soori plays the role of a police officer. Meanwhile, Rajiv Menon and Gautham Vasudev Menon play higher officials in the police force. The team is on a mission to hunt down Permual. At the end of the trailer, Sethupathi's Perumal asks the police, "You separate humans upon birth as top, bottom or middle. Aren't you the separatist here? We fight for the inclusion of all in society. Are we the separatists?"

Produced by Elred Kumar under his banner RS Infotainment, Viduthalai is set to release in two parts. Viduthalai Part 1 also stars Bhavani Sre, Prakash Raj, and Chethan in supporting roles. 

With music composed by Ilaiyaraja, The technical team of Viduthalai consists of cinematographer R Velraj, editor R Ramar and action choreographer Peter Hein. The film is currently scheduled to release on March 31.
