First single from GV Prakash-starrer Kalvan out

Actor Karthi released the first single from GV Prakash's Kalvan on Saturday. Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote, "Happy to release Adi Kattazhagu Karuvaachi from Kalvan, a lilting & lovely melody from GV Prakash. Best wishes to the team." (sic)

Adi Kattazhagu Karuvaachi is a romantic song between GV Prakash and Ivana's characters in Kalvan. While the song is sung and composed by GV Prakash himself, the lyrics are penned by Maya Mahalingam and Ekadesi. 

Directed by PV Shankar, Kalvan is billed as a comedy-drama with adventure and thriller elements. Director PV Shankar and Ramesh Aiyappan have jointly scripted Kalvan. Interestingly, the director is handling the film's cinematography as well. It is worth a mention that the music director-turned-actor GV Prakash and Ivana had earlier worked together in the Bala directorial Naachiyar.

G Dilli Babu is producing the film under the banner of Axess Film Factory. The makers have already completed the shoot, and are planning to release it soon.
