Harish Kalyan's next titled Parking

Actor Harish Kalyan will be next seen in Parking, the upcoming film directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan. The film's title look was released on Friday.

Backed by Passion Studios and Soldier's Factory, Parking is billed as a thriller drama. It also stars Indhuja Ravichandran as the female lead. Speaking to CE, Ramkumar said, "Parking, as the title suggests, deals with a very relevant and day-to-day concern. In recent times, car owners face parking issues almost everywhere, from apartments to streets. And it is such incidents that inspired me to make this film."

Harish plays an IT professional in Parking. The film also stars MS Bhaskar, Prathana Nathan, Rama Rajendra, and Ilavarasu in pivotal roles. The film was entirely shot in Chennai and is currently in the final stage of post-production.  It may be noted that Ramkumar previously assisted filmmaker Sinish in Baloon (2017). Sinish has co-produced Parking. "I pitched a couple of storylines to Sinish and he chose Parking of the two. We spent almost one year on pre-production. I spoke to many people, and their lived-in experiences related to parking concerns served as inputs for developing the story," he added. Parking's technical crew includes music composer Sam CS, cinematographer Jiju Sunny and editor NK Rahul.
