On Monday, the makers of Maaveeran announced that the second single Vannarapettayila will be released on June 14. Sung by Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar the music for the film has been composed by Bharath Shankar. Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics for the song.

The makers announced the release of the song along with a short comedy sketch. The video starts with Madonne Ashwin and Bharath Shankar discussing prospective singers for their next single. They're then seen convincing Aditi Shankar and Sivakarthikeyan to sing the song.

The makers recently announced that the dubbing for the film has begun. Directed by Madonne Ashwin, the film will release in Telugu as Mahaveerudu. The ensemble cast of the film includes Mysskin, Saritha, Yogi Babu, and Sunil, among others.

The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Vidhu Ayyanna, music composer Bharath Shankar and editor Philomin Raj. Maaveeran marks Madonne's sophomore directorial after the award-winning film Mandela
